PyATL Jam Session (In-town)

Details
Jam Session meetings are intended to be hands-on, collaborative experiences with your fellow PyATL members. We'll be meeting from 7pm to 11pm to work together on whatever projects you feel like. Bring your own hobby projects, bring a work project, bring your new startup idea - whatever you like. Or, if you don't have a project of your own, come along and see what projects others are working on and sit down with them to help them out! Programmers of all experience levels are welcome! JR Rickerson will be there a bit early to help introduce people, organize, and make sure everyone is comfortable.
We recommend bringing a laptop with Python installed so you can join in the fun!
Materials for each jam session can be found in the PyATL GitHub repository: https://github.com/pyatl/jam-sessions
Each month we usually start with a short warm up on a Python Challenge puzzle. You can find the Python Challenge website here: http://www.pythonchallenge.com/
After the warm up, we typically work together through a demonstration or tutorial of some sort. You can find the list of topics we try to pull these from in our shared Google Doc here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ak8pFoKB6kK-dFdlejg1RloxaUxsSVNXZTFrWmdJdHc
You can also work on projects on your own or in small groups if you'd prefer that to the demonstrations, and feel free to ask questions or share your experiences with the group.
