2nd Wednesday Talk - PyCon 2018 Recap

What happens at PyCon, the largest Python conference each year? Christine and Matt will talk about what happened this year and share some cool things that they learned and what you could learn if you attended in the future.

Christine has been using Python and studying machine learning since 2015. Currently she is an analyst at Guitar Center supporting the Music & Arts and Woodwind & Brasswind brands. Outside of data science, Christine studied french horn for over 15 years and especially loves music history. She also enjoys eating amazing Asian food and riding her bike around Frederick.

Matt is a Python user since 2006. He is also the lead developer at Storybird, an online education platform built on top of Python and Django. Matt maintains a number of open source Python projects, loves to teach the language to others, writes regularly about programming at https://www.mattlayman.com/ , and organizes Python Frederick.
