Title/Topic: Scaling Python machine learning workloads in the LLM era

Since the generative AI wave exploded last year the power of massive models, huge datasets and lengthy training runs for ML has been unquestionable. As we enter the era of Large Language Models (LLMs), scaling computational workloads will become one of the major challenges and opportunities in the space.

In this talk, Andy will provide a hands-on overview of techniques for scaling data and machine learning workloads in Python, using toolkits like Kubeflow and Ray. First, the focus will be on more “classic” ML models before moving onto a discussion of how to work at LLM scale.
