AIWAF is a middleware level security system designed for frameworks like Django, Flask, and FastAPI, allowing protection to be integrated directly into the application layer. Instead of relying on static rules, it analyzes request behavior in real time to detect anomalies and malicious patterns. The system combines feature extraction, adaptive learning, and anomaly detection to make intelligent decisions on whether to allow or block traffic. It includes a Rust based accelerator for high performance request validation. In this talk, we'll dive into how the AIWAF ecosystem works and how it enables applications to defend themselves dynamically.
