pyOpenSci is a global organization that is building diverse community around the scientific python tools that drive open science. pyOpenSci is also doing work to make it easier for the community to understand Python packaging. Join this talk to learn more about pyOpenSci’s work on our community driven packaging guide. You will also learn about peer review process for scientific Python software.

Leah learned programming the hard way, all on her own. This experience drives her to support the community around the skills and tools needed to advance data-intensive science.
She is passionate about developing programmes that:
- build diverse communities and networks to support Open Science.
- support communities that are underrepresented in STEM.
- democratise Open Data Science education through online learning.
