Hi Adelaide Pythonistas,

Continuing our Tech Talks we are having 2 speakers this meeting

I am excited to announce the June meeting which is going to be about Django and GIS.

Dave Lawrence, Bioinformatician at ACRF Cancer Genomics Facility: With the presentation titled "Analysing and sharing genetic data with Python" he will give an overview of how Python is used in high throughput DNA sequencing, showing a Django app VariantGrid, used by SA Health for analysing patients, as well as a federally funded national data sharing project.

Oliver Holmes, Geospatial software engineering specialist: With the presentation title as "Building Interactive Maps with Dynamic Tiles" He will demonstrate how to build interactive maps with Python, using slippy map tiles, Flask, and Pillow.
