Python Tech Talks: Transfer Learning: Don't break your graphics card :)

Details
Hi Adelaide Pythonistas,
This is the last Tech of 2023 then we take a 3 month break and resume tech talks in March.
I am excited to announce the November meeting is going to be about Machine Learning.
Dr. Bernard Evans: is a Teaching Specialist at the University of Adelaide, focusing on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. With a Ph.D. in Neurophysiology, their research delved into understanding the visual pathways of dragonflies in complex environments, recording from living dragonfly brains and modelling their underlying neural computations.
Prior to academia, they spent six years as a software engineer, specializing in missile and radar systems. Driven by a keen interest in the interface between biological and artificial brains, their work explores neural network functionality and organic information processing.
Passionate about bridging neuroscience and AI, Dr. Evans aims to leverage this knowledge to advance our understanding of intelligence and technology.
Join us to explore the pivotal role of machine learning and AI in the world today.
