Python GeoPandas Workshop

Join us on Wednesday, March 22nd at 6 pm in room #133 Clark Hall, Brown Science & Engineering Library, UVA for a Python GeoPandas Workshop. We're inviting all members of the Python community to participate and learn how to use Python’s GeoPanda’s package with a hands on workshop. This is based on Erich Purpur’s workshop which is at github.com/epurpur/pythonGeospatialWorkshop

Bring your computer with Anconda installed (www.anaconda.com/products/distribution) and leave with a notebook of GeoPanadas examples, new ideas and friends. Through the in-person workshop we will have an open chat running for voting, sharing and ideas for future workshops.

Before arriving, install Anaconda on either a Windows or Linux machine. If you need help with installing Anaconda message Paul Otto on Meetup.com.

Light refreshments will be served.
