Python for GIS applications: one hundred and one things to do with map data
There comes a time in every developer's life when they find themselves, for one reason or another, having to do something with maps. This means learning how to handle GIS data and that, happily, is something that Python has excellent tools for. In this presentation, Iris Meredith will demonstrate through the use of GeoPandas, DuckDB and Flask in Python for the collection and processing of geographical data.
