**18.30**-**19:00** - **Accoglienza e networking 💬**

**19.00** - **19.20** - **Buzzer Musicale** \- Nicola Palmieri **📢 🇮🇹**
L'incontro riguarderà la possibilità di interazione tra un Raspberry e la sua GPIO tramite Python per riprodurre suoni su un buzzer passivo.
Durante il talk ci sarà una breve presentazione del Raspberry, dei componenti utilizzati per realizzare il circuito ed una panoramica sulle tipologie di buzzer e del perché è stato scelto quello di tipo passivo.
Introdotti i componenti necessari ci si focalizzerà sul codice Python e sulla libreria utilizzata per interagire con la GPIO.
Per concludere verrà messo in funzione il circuito, con una breve demo che riporterà tutti nel favoloso mondo Arcade degli anni 80.

Questo talk offre consigli pratici e approcci efficaci per imparare a programmare, pensati anche per chi si sente "negato" o parte da zero. Scopriremo come avvicinarsi a Python da autodidatti, soprattutto per chi proviene da settori lontani dall'informatica, trasformando l'apprendimento in un'esperienza gratificante e produttiva. L'obiettivo è evitare il loop infinito dei tutorial senza risultati (trust me, non è facile) e rendere Python accessibile anche a chi non ha mai scritto una riga di codice.
L'apprendimento è un processo universale, applicabile a ogni campo, reso possibile da meccanismi come la plasticità sinaptica e il potenziamento a lungo termine, che permettono al cervello di adattarsi e migliorare attraverso la pratica. Attraverso un approccio evidence-based, esploreremo come imparare Python in modo efficace, stimolante, produttivo e alla portata di tutti.

Biology is experiencing an unprecedented surge in both public and scientific interest. From CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing to mRNA vaccines, life sciences are driving some of the most groundbreaking advancements of our time, reshaping medicine, technology, and even our understanding of what it means to be human. And, no surprise, proteins are at the very center of this biological renaissance, running the show when you’re not looking.
Lately, proteins have been everywhere, not just in your meal choices, but in the headlines, too. The Covid-19 spike protein, for example, has become the most recognizable molecular structure in history (second only to DNA). AI is predicting protein structures with such precision that it’s probably better at it than most of us are at folding a fitted sheet. And, yes, Google and OpenAI are throwing money at biology like it’s the next Bitcoin.
But why all the hype? What makes proteins so special? In this talk, we’ll take a step back and unpack the excitement. We’ll start with the basics: what proteins are, why they matter, and why they fold in ways that make even origami look simple. Then, we’ll dive into the big questions: How do we solve the protein-folding problem? What does AI have to do with it? And, most importantly, will understanding this help you impress people at dinner parties? By the end, you’ll see why proteins are so damn cool. And maybe you’ll even feel inspired to fold one yourself.
