May Python Pune meetup 2018

NOTE: RSVP METHOD FOR THIS MEETUP IS DIFFERENT, PLEASE FOLLOW THE DESCRIPTION BELOW

Welcome to May edition of Python Pune. This time we are organising a hackathon in association with data-meet group and it would be one day hackathon. So here are list [1] of some real life problems where community is thriving to get help in terms of contribution. So lets have sip of coffee together and build this wonderful Open Source upstream tools.

Agenda:
• Introductions
• Keynote by Zymr Inc.
• Introduction to hackaton and brief on project topics.
• Hackaton
• Presentation of work achieved.

Prerequisite:
• Get your own fully charged laptops, if possible get a powerstrip.
• If you know how to ON or OFF computer and having hunger to learn as well as having a laptop with 2GB+ RAM (With GNU/Linux installed), you are welcome to join.
• It is good to have some programming experience.
Python and any one web framework would be an added advantage (Django, flask and etc)
• But if one can build those project using any Open Source tools/framework/language you are most welcome, no restrictions on technology stack to be used unless it is Open Source.

How can I register for this meetup?

• Since, we have the limited number of seats for this workshop (approx: 50 people). You can register by sending an email to "punepython@gmail.com" with the following format:

Subject: Registration for May Python Pune meetup

Body: In the body of an email, Include: your name, email-id, phone number, Meetup profile ID.

NOTE: We prefer First Come First Serve RSVP for the meetup and seats are limited.
We only accept RSVP via email, even if you see RSVP is closed please feel free to drop a mail in mentioned format and please be patient we are human not robots (sarcasm).

• Once we receive the email, we will confirm your RSVP to "Yes" on meetup page (depending upon availability of seats)
