ABOUT TALK
In the past decade, machine learning has given us self-driving cars, practical speech recognition, effective web search, and a vastly improved understanding of the human genome. Machine learning is so pervasive today that you probably use it dozens of times a day without knowing it. In this introduction to machine learning workshop, we will focus on testing out Natural Language Processing libraries and utilize them to fill in a madlib! You will explore several approaches, from using build-in text to creating a spider to crawl the internet and grab words (categorized in different English-language grammar categories) to fill in the spaces of a story or phrase.
