ABOUT STUDY GROUP

✨ We are working asynchronously, you are welcome to join at any time.✨

To master data science, you should not only get a grip on the tools — data science libraries, frameworks, modules, and toolkits — but also understand the underlying ideas and principles of the field. In this study group, you’ll learn how most fundamental data science tools and algorithms work by implementing them from scratch. We will help you get comfortable with the math and statistics at the core of data science, and equip you with some hacking skills that data scientists use in their work.

ORGANIZERS

This study group is co-hosted by Albus Code and PySWFL.

STUDY MATERIALS

A copy of Data Science from Scratch: First Principles with Python, Second Edition by Joel Grus (available on Amazon).
