With a cloud bill north of $2 million a month and rising, traditional FinOps approaches often miss the wood for the trees. A spike of $50,000 a month becomes lost and not an instant cause for concern.
Knowing there’d be cloud bill skeletons to find, as a team of three engineers, we set aside a week to see what can be achieved with Jupyter notebooks, Boto and AWS Lambda.
