Meet Cedar: An Open source library for AuthZ
By Derek BinghamAuthorisation is one of the foundational needs when building your applications and services. The ability to correctly and reliably grant or deny access to your application resources is critical. Yet this is still one of the hardest things we have to do as developers. In this session Derek Bingham will cover the open source project 'Cedar' that helps you solve this problem by helping you build next generation authorisation into your applications. Derek is going to provide a quick overview of authorisation and its nuances, before looking at Cedar. Using a simple python Demo application Derek will show how you can begin to use Cedar to help simplify authorisation for your applications.
Derek Bingham is a Senior Developer Advocate at Amazon Web Services.
