Austin Robotics Paper Club

This is an invite for the Austin Robotics Paper Club. This week we will cover the classic AlexNet paper that helped launch modern deep learning and had a major influence on computer vision.

AlexNet Paper: ImageNet Classification with Deep Convolutional Neural Networks

We’ll start with a quick overview of the ImageNet dataset by Katharine, and then Jason will guide us through a discussion of AlexNet’s architecture, training code, and results.

Although we encourage everyone to read the papers beforehand, the first 15 minutes of the meeting will be reserved for reading the paper if you didn’t have time to during the week.
