Join us for this year's Voices From The Past, a unique living history event that tells the stories of our founding fathers, civic leaders, pioneering women, and a few interesting characters.
We gather as a group for a "spirited stroll" through Charlotte’s historic cemeteries and interact with costumed portrayers as they tell the stories of the men and women who made Charlotte what it is today.
Voices From The Past launched in 2017 by The Mecklenburg Historical Association (MHA). Starting with the 2023 event, the MHA turned the event over to Historic Elmwood Pinewood Inc. (HEPI), to be used as a fundraiser to preserve, restore and enhance these historic cemeteries.
