Don’t miss this special opportunity to hear from internationally acclaimed artists Einar and Jamex de la Torre, in conversation with Senior Curator Annie Carlano, as they discuss their 30-year artistic journey, process, and inspirations.

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and raised in California, the de la Torre brothers are known for their dazzling, densely layered works that fuse glassblowing, sculpture, painting, and lenticular imagery.

Their art is a vibrant collision of cultures and aesthetics—where baroque excess meets pop surrealism, and sacred symbols intertwine with mass media. With influences ranging from Catholicism and Mesoamerican mythology to sci-fi, street culture, and political satire, their work challenges societal norms while embracing hybridity, humor, and the complexities of identity.
