Session 2: Supercharging Software Testing with Playwright MCP and a Private LLM RAG Engine

In modern QA, LLMs are powerful and used as assistant to write test cases, automate tests etc. but they don’t know your application’s business rules, edge cases, or workflows.
In this talk, we present a fully custom RAG-powered QA Assistant built using Playwright MCP, a Private LLM, and a universal document ingestion engine supporting PDF, DOCX, JSON, Excel, images, and even video OCR.
This system allows testers to “teach” the LLM their application simply by placing documents in a folder — instantly making the agent aware of requirements, validations, flows, and customer-specific rules.
The result: an AI assistant that performs context-aware exploratory testing, generates test steps, executes Playwright automation, reports defects, and reasons like a Senior QA.
