Whatever happens, 2024 will be a year of change.

More than half the people on the planet (approx. 4.2bn) live in countries that will hold national elections in 2024. Estimates suggest over 2bn will go to the polls 😯 . It’s coming!

And you know what else? Change is coming for tech too. 2024 will be another dominated by the rapid developments in AI.

And what about Quality Engineering specifically – what does the future look like?

Where are we currently at with AI tool adoption?
What should we feel excited about?
Why should we feel concerned?

All this and more will be covered on the next QE Babble. And WHAT a panel we have to discuss it!

I'm delighted to be joined by Richard Bradshaw, Naveen Bhati and Tom McCawley for QE Babble - AI Tools in Testing.

In truth, Richard needs little introduction. He's widely regarded as one of the pre-eminent voices in the test community and I'm so chuffed he's decided to kick off his '24 speaker engagements with joining us on QE Babble.

Naveen has been working specifically on Metaverse projects for 4 years, including over 2 years working with Facebook. He now leads Metaverse initiatives for Improbable. A regular blogging and commentator on all things AI, you should give him a follow on here!

Tom has been a long-standing connection of mine, and has been in testing for nearly 15 years working in a variety of automation roles. He's also a returning contributor to QE Babble, having supported us with a lockdown session back in 2020. Tom's worked involves extensive test automation, so I'll be interested to hear how/where he has looked to utilise AI tools within his work.

We'll aim for around 1/3 of the session to be a Q&A, you can fire your questions in as you watch along in the comments.

What a way to start off the year .
