Grab your current read and pull up a chair! ☕📖
Following our first gathering, we’re slowing things down for a relaxed reading and discussion afternoon. Whether you’re diving into contemporary Arab literature, philosophy, history, fiction, or non-fiction in any language you prefer you’re welcome at our table.
How it works (zero pressure!):

  • Bring whatever you're currently reading (or a book that recently left a lasting impression on you). You do not need to have finished a specific assigned book!
  • We’ll spend the first 30–40 minutes casually reading side-by-side over coffee.
  • Afterward, we'll open up the circle: each person shares a brief reflection, a favorite quote, or the core idea of their book, sparking natural conversation across history, culture, and life in the diaspora.

🗣️ Language:
Our chats flow naturally in Arabic and our various regional dialects (الدارجة / اللهجات), with English, German always welcome whenever helpful.

📍 Location & Venue:
Holzkranich, 105, 80798 München-Maxvorstadt

👥 Attendance Note:
To keep book discussions intimate and give everyone space to speak, spots are limited to 10 attendees.

  • Please RSVP only if you are confident you can attend.
  • If your plans change, kindly update your RSVP at least 48 hours in advance so someone on the waitlist can take your seat.

Looking forward to discovering new titles and great thoughts together! ☕✨
Warmly,
Noor
