Kicking Off: Qatar Fabric User Group – Session 1
Welcome to the very first Qatar Fabric User Group meetup! We're kicking things off with a hands-on look at what's possible when you combine Microsoft Fabric with custom front-end design.

This session: Harley Webster (Founder, Amarji Data Analytics LLC) will be showcasing Fabric Apps and HTML dashboards built on top of Power BI semantic models, going beyond the standard Power BI canvas to create fully branded, custom-designed reporting experiences for clients.
Expect to see:

  • How Fabric Apps package and distribute reports across an organisation
  • Building custom HTML dashboards that pull data from a semantic model
  • Real examples from client work across waste management sector
  • Where this approach makes sense vs. sticking with native Power BI visuals

Whether you're brand new to Fabric or already deep in the weeds with DAX and dataflows, come along — there'll be time for questions and networking before/afterwards.

Is This Session For Me
Data leaders, analysts, BI developers, and anyone working with Power BI or Microsoft Fabric — whether you're just getting started or already building out semantic models and dataflows. Business users curious about what's possible with their data are welcome too; no prior Fabric experience required.
