What we’re about

We are a volunteer group of local queers that want to facilitate queers in qathet connecting with queer community. We gratefully acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional and treaty territory of the Tla'amin nation.

Join your fellow 2SLGBTQIA+ qathet-dwellers at this chill night of bowling, pool, and general hanging out.

Costs: Depends on what you choose to do! If cost is a barrier to your participation please message us and we are happy to cover your costs.

Accessibility: To be determined... The alley has a steep front set of stairs/ramp but we will find out if there are any accessible entrances.

Powell River Recreation Complex, Powell River, BC
Join qathet Queer Meetups for a private event at the Recreation Complex pool! All 2SLGBTQIA+ folks are welcome, and so are all your bodies and gender expressions and awesomeness. The entire pool area is reserved for our exclusive use.

Use whatever changeroom you feel comfortable with. Wear the swim attire that will make you feel the best. No swimming required! Hang out in the sauna, hot tub, or chill poolside with a bunch of other local queers. We will work hard to make this a safe environment for all bodies.

Cost: Free!

Accessibility: The Recreation Complex is a totally accessible facility.
