MTG Draft and Draught Night

Come join us for an evening of drafting Magic The Gathering while enjoying Town Brewing Co.'s draft beer. Please read the following before RSVP'ing for the event.

• A basic knowledge of the rules to Magic The Gathering is required in order to participate. You don't need to be an expert but should know turn order, combat and stack resolution. If you are new to playing the cube format, there will be instruction provided on drafting and deck building. If you are looking to learn Magic The Gathering, see the last bullet point below.
• The attendance is capped at 8 to accommodate one full draft pod. However, there will be a wait list and if that fills out to accommodate a second 8 person draft pod, then those additional spots will be added and a new wait list will be created.
• We will be drafting my personal cube which you can find a card list of here on Cube Cobra.
• There will be pre-sleeved basic lands for use in deck building.
• Bring basic supplies like your own life tracker/spin down, play mat and tokens if desired (all optional).
• If you RSVP you are expected to attend. Drafting requires specific numbers of participants for an optimal experience. Reserving a spot and then dropping the day of the event creates a negative experience for the other participants. If you need to drop please update your RSVP as soon as possible prior to the event. A pattern of RSVP'ing and then not attending will result in removal from the group.
• This event coincides with the Town Brewing Tuesday Magic group. That group meets every Tuesday to play Commander. If you are on the wait list I would suggest attending the event even if you are not guaranteed a draft spot and bringing a Commander deck along. If a spot in the draft does not open up you can always jump in on one of the Commander games.
• If you are new to Magic The Gathering and are looking to learn, feel free to attend the Town Brewing Tuesday Magic event noted above. The commander format is a great casual way to learn Magic The Gathering and that event is open to anyone who wants to attend. Bring your own Commander deck or message me if you intend to come and would like to borrow one of mine
