Most people are familiar with Queer theory and how it explores the representation of queer characters in movies but video games have an equally complex, fascinating and, at times, surprising relationship with characters who don't fit into straight archetypes.

Dan Bernardo, an Anthropologist and Game Director, explores the history of queer representation in video games, its evolution and how current events are reshaping the view and attitudes of straight gamers and game developers towards LGBTQ+ and queer characters.
