Collaboration At Scale: Lessons From Data Standards
Speaker: Edafe Onerhime

How might we solve wicked, complex, and hard-to-scale problems? Especially where data is a key part of the solution? And how do we do this while ensuring equity for marginalised groups? How do we embrace our responsibilities as designers of artefacts that have both a social and technological impact? In this talk, Edafe describes the power of data standards and her experience working with them to tackle complex, wicked, and hard-to-scale problems with global and national impacts - equitably.

Edafe Onerhime (she/her) is the Data Architecture Governance Lead at JP Morgan Chase. A data specialist, speaker, and writer, she has 20+ years experience making impact with data. She is a leading voice on data strategy and data standards. She leads collaborative change to make data valued and valuable with the motto: Data + Design + Culture. She lives in Glasgow, Scotland with her wife and cat.
