We are a friendly group of people dedicated to cultivating wellness, vitality, and spiritual fulfilment. We gather to practice moving the body jofully together.

Nicole Stone offers beginning and intermediate classes in Qigong (pronounced "chee-kung"). Basic instruction is provided and practitioners of all experience levels are welcome. The main style of Qigong we practice is called Wild Goose or Dayan Qigong. The dynamic flowing movements found in this style of Qigong stimulates blood and Qi circulation, improves joint mobility, and brings an uplifted feeling of peace within.

Nicole also offers beginning to intermediate Iyengar-inspired Yoga classes that focus on balancing strength and flexibility.

All bodies, genders, and abilities are welcome!

Location: In the middle of the Grassy Field in front of the Crab Cove Visitor's Center in Alameda-Look for us beyond the US Flag. If you're driving, you can park in the lot or on McKay Avenue.

Weekly Iyengar-Style Yoga Class

Mondays 12:00-1:30 pm ~ IN-PERSON in Studio A at The Yoga Room in South Berkeley

$17 single class | $80/5-Class Pass | $150/15-Class Pass

This beginning to intermediate level class is both gentle and strengthening. We work to create a stable foundation to support the reach of our spine and limbs, inviting more internal space for our organs to receive nourishment. We practice aligning our bodies with gravity, releasing our weight to discover lightness and full-body breathing. Props are used to meet each individual where they are. You will leave class feeling both relaxed and awake, with a new sense of balance within.

Covid Caution: This in-person class will be limited to 10 people. Masks are mandatory when entering and optional once situated on your mat. The large air purifier and ceiling fan will be running at all times and the windows will be open for air flow.

Seasonal Qigong in the Park

Tuesday Morning Seasonal Qigong in the Park 9:30-10:45 AM

In each class there will be a full-body warm up to lubricate the joints, meridian tapping to encourage the flow of blood and qi, walking qigong forms and exercises that focus on harmonizing with the season accoring to the Five Elements Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Winter-Water-Kidneys, Spring-Wood-Liver, Summer-Fire-Heart, Late Summer-Earth-Spleen, Autumn-Metal-Lungs

Location: Chochenyo Park in Alameda

Class Payment: $17/class or $80 for 5-class pass or $150 for 10-class pass; All accepted: cash, check, Venmo or PayPal (select Friends & Family option)
