Welcome to Qlik Meetup #2 for Newcastle and the North East!

Its been a good few month since the very first Qlik meetup, so... since last time went down well... its time for another event!

This time we bring you a talk from Gary Palmer, who is the IT Director for Forbidden Planet. Who are Forbidden Planet you ask...? Well, if you are into the world of geek culture, frankly, they need no introduction! For those outside of this world, Forbidden Planet is the world’s largest and best-known science fiction, fantasy and cult entertainment retailer and the largest UK stockist of the latest comics and graphic novels.

As IT Director, Gary has lead on the introduction of Qlik into the heart of the business, and will be talking to us on how they've done this, picking out some key projects and successes along their journey

Also, as ever, we will have some general Qlik craic / news / roadmap info from your hosts Michael and Carl.
