What we’re about
I don't know about you, but I'm a little starved for quality conversations in person.
Maybe it's because not everybody is in the right frame of mind to discuss books or ideas or philosophy or whatever just when I want to. Maybe the friends I used to do this with have been scattered across the globe and congregating them is hard. Maybe there is a shortage of open curiosity in the world, and a glut of overconfident opinions - and everybody is just exhausted. Maybe we all need a push sometimes to snap out of the routine and put time aside for some earnest intellectual conversation. Maybe I just don't have any friends!
Either way, this is a small effort to try and meet fellow curious conversationalists with an open mind and hopefully have a few laughs or even an A-ha! moment or two.
