Please describe yourself in three words

In your words, what is Quantified Self?

Collecting objective data on oneself.

Please describe your work or interests and how they relate to Quantified Self

I conduct brain research using MRI. MRI is an excellent tool for measuring the structure and function of the living brain and provides insight into various diseases. However, given its high cost and lack of portability, there are certain limitations to its clinical utility. Thus, in order to increase the accessibility of our research I am interested in relating certain low-cost continuous physiological metrics to those that we measure in the brain with MRI.

Are you currently tracking anything? What would you like to learn how to track?

I am trained as an engineer and work in research at Sunnybrook Hospital. I am primarily interested in quantified self applications to health.
