Quantum Computation and Information - Quantum Circuits
Details
For the next meeting, we will be starting chapter 4 of Quantum Computation and Quantum Information (https://www.amazon.com/Quantum-Computation-Information-10th-Anniversary/dp/1107002176/ref=sr_1_1)
We will also discuss ideas for gaining experience with creating quantum circuits programmatically.
Suggested Reading:
- Sections 4.1-4.4
- As many exercises as you like
If you are just starting or catching up, below is some suggested reading from chapter 2.
If you are studying the first part of the chapter on complex linear algebra:
2.6, 2.11, 2.16, 2.24, 2.33, 2.39
If you are studying the second part of the chapter on quantum formalism:
2.59, 2.60, 2.67, 2.71, 2.73, 2.74, 2.78, 2.82
Of course, you are free to choose the problems that you find interesting. Many of them (but not all) are very short and good for testing your understanding.
