Quantum machine learning on AWS and quantum computing news and updates

Hi Quantum Hackers,
This meetup starts with news and updates on the current status of quantum computing and then continues with a technical section on how to implement a quantum machine learning algorithm on AWS.

It will be held at Amazon Brisbane, 300 George St, Brisbane City. It will also be streamed on zoom: https://uqz.zoom.us/j/82806142322 If you intend to attend in-person, please send me a message on meetup. In-person participants will receive a $20 AWS voucher.

Technical section
The technical part will be loosely based on this tutorial:

To run it for free, we will use AWS boto3 simulator. If you intend to follow along, you need to have Python installed on your system.
You also need to make sure that these python packages are installed:

• boto3 (tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tW3HoYRnABs)
• amazon-braket-pennylane-plugin
• pandas
• sklearn

To test the packages, make sure that you can run the code below without any errors:

from pennylane import numpy as np
dev = qml.device("braket.local.qubit", wires=2)
