(category theory and) Pauli matrices

Matrix manipulation is fundamental to the design of quantum algorithms. Tonight we will determine the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the Pauli matrices and look at the power series expansion of the corresponding rotation operators.

There's a connection with category theory.
