Bio: Andrew is a software engineer at IQVIA. He founded IQVIA's Quantum Computing Guild and is a quantum computing enthusiast. One of his side projects is building a hardware abstraction layer (HAL) for doing heterogeneous computing (quantum, CPU, GPU). He has been interested in quantum computing since my physics professor Albert Young introduced the fundamentals to his class when he was doing his bachelor's of computer science degree at NC State.
