About SVQAC
The Silicon Valley Quantum & Advanced Computing Club began as a grassroots meetup and has grown into a global community of more than 1,430 members, establishing itself as one of the world's premier platforms for advancing dialogue in quantum and advanced computing.
Our Mission
SVQAC serves as a trusted venue for both academic and industry exchange in quantum computing. Our speaker series has attracted top-tier thought leaders, including officials from the U.S. Department of Energy, IBM's Head of Quantum Computing, renowned professors, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists.
In addition to quantum computing, we host discussions on advanced computing concepts such as DNA data storage and neuromorphic computing, providing members with exposure to the full frontier of next-generation computing paradigms.
Education & Outreach
SVQAC has invested in educational content creation, collaborating with the eOTF to deliver community lectures that are now freely available on YouTube for learners worldwide.
In 2024, we launched a pilot high school program in California, offering a free Quantum Computing Training program covering Quantum Basics, Quantum Gates & Circuits, Quantum Algorithms, Quantum Hardware Applications, and Quantum Ethics & Future Directions.
