Adversaries are already collecting encrypted enterprise data today, knowing that when quantum computers arrive, it can be unlocked. This “harvest-now, decrypt-later” threat means the danger isn’t in the future — it’s happening now, and everything companies work so hard to secure is at risk. In 2022, a Presidential Memorandum (NSM-10) directed agencies to begin migrating to quantum-resistant systems, and in 2025, an Executive Order reinforced strict timelines for that transition. The NSA’s CNSA 2.0 standard sets the highest bar globally; setting strict deadlines and defining which algorithms must be used, prohibiting the use of conventional encryption methods such as RSA and Diffie-Hellman commonly found in practically every existing enterprise solution. American Binary is the first company to deliver a network security product fully conformant to CNSA 2.0 across all cryptographic components. The message is simple: getting it wrong means data breaches that can lead to severe company and executive consequences, wasted resources, and costly compliance failures. Getting it right the first time requires adopting solutions built fully on CNSA 2.0 algorithms, ensuring systems are secure against harvest-attack risks and ready for the quantum era.
