In Real Life Oxford is a grassroots movement and event platform dedicated to helping people meet, connect, and build meaningful friendships and community — offline.

Born from the belief that Oxford is more than just a city to pass through, IRL Oxford creates real-life spaces for locals, newcomers, dog parents, creatives, students, professionals, and everyone in between to gather in person — not through a screen.

We host everything from picnic potlucks and pub socials to dance nights, street festivals, foodie collaborations, karaoke nights, singles events, and more. And unlike traditional events, our focus is always on connection first — not algorithms or networking games.

Whether you’re 18 or 80, new to town or looking to fall in love with Oxford again, IRL Oxford is your invitation to be part of something real:
