Glad to Be Elsewhere (July 4th Potluck)

Join us this July 4th in Oxford for Glad to Be Elsewhere Day — a potluck gathering for the globally minded, the culturally curious, and the delightfully displaced.

If you’ve ever spent July 4th not surrounded by red, white, and blue — and felt oddly relieved — this one’s for you. We’re bringing together Americans abroad, Brits with a sense of humor, and international friends for an evening of shared food, playful mockery of hyper-patriotism, and good old-fashioned fun.

🎶 Expect games, music, and laughter.

🌍 All are welcome — even Americans.

We’re not anti-anything — just pro-community, pro-food, and gently pro-sanity. The location is still being finalized, but expect a chill and festive evening. Save the date and spread the word.
