About Professor Katz
Nadav Katz is an associate professor of physics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the founder and director of the Quantum Information Science Center of the University. He is the a member of the Quantum Community Network (QCN), representing Israel within the European Union's quantum technology flagship program.
Nadav’s current research interests are in quantum information processing using Josephson junction qubits, decoherence and energy relaxation in superconducting circuits, fluctuations and dissipation due to two level states in these systems, novel superconducting qubits – new materials and designs. He is also involved in several quantum sensing and communication projects, including the national Quantum Key Distribution demonstrator.
