AAA Neuroscience - Genetics of human brain evolution

Spring is here, and it's time to return to our Neuroscience series, isn't it? After delving into the secrets of consciousness and sex differences in brain structure, let's discuss the genetic aspects of human brain development and evolution! In this meeting we will cover aspects such as cell number, patterning and organization of the human brain which differ it from our evolutionary ancestors and other mammals. We will also talk about evolution of the brain function pertinent to aspects like language. Physical constraints limiting human brain development will be also covered.
