Group Goal:
The primary goal of QueenGreen 716: Black Women for Sustainability is to build a supportive and empowering community of Black women in Buffalo who are passionate about sustainability and environmental justice. The group seeks to promote education, collaboration, and action that supports a more sustainable and equitable future here in Western New York.
Target Audience:
QueenGreen 716 is for Black women and allies of all ages and backgrounds who are interested in sustainability, regardless of experience level. Whether you're already practicing sustainable living or just beginning to explore the world of environmental consciousness, this group welcomes you. Our aim is to create an inclusive space where shared learning, growth, and community connection thrive.
Vision:
Through regular events, workshops, and community initiatives, QueenGreen 716 will serve as a space for Black women to connect, learn, and lead on issues ranging from climate justice to everyday eco-living. Together, we aim to spark collective action, celebrate cultural roots, and uplift one another in the movement toward a greener, more just future.
