Dante's Trail hike to Grandmother's tree w/ lunch afterwards.

Join us for a hike in San Marco's of Dante's trail to Grandmother's tree (a 300 year old cypress). This is a moderate hike of about 6 miles up and back. This trail travels through a nicel section of Purgatory Creek Greenspace. There is a lot of shade on the hike mostly from live oak trees, but there is intermittent sun along the way.

We will meet at Wheatsville Coop south Lamar and carpool from there (about 30 mins). Afterwards we can get lunch.
What to bring: Sturdy shoes, sun protection, water, weather appropriate clothing.

Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
