San Marcos River Tubing

Join us for tubing on the San Marcos River! We will start east of I-35 from Old Bastrop Hwy in San Marcos. The river heads east from there. Lots of trees and small rapids for a leisurely 3 hour float. Because the river is spring fed, it's a great way to cool off in the summer.

Where: We'll meet at Wheatsville Food Coop, 4001 S. Lamar Blvd, Austin.
When: 9am.
Cost: $30
What to bring: Water shoes (or old sneakers you don't mind getting wet), sunscreen, hat, drinks, snacks.

If you want to bring a small cooler, you can rent a tube for it. It's best that anything you bring on the river can be tied to your tube... No styrofoam or glass allowed on the river.
