Guided bird walk Vondelpark - Queer Amsterdam Edition!

Hey there bird lovers & birdcurious beings 🦚 Get ready for our upcoming bird walk - Queer Amsterdam Edition - on July 6! Whether you’re an experienced enthusiast, or just starting out & wondering why birdwatching is even a thing: come out and join us for a guided bird walk at Vondelpark, Amsterdam 🪶

We’ll flock together and meet at church (Vondelkerk) because why not 🌈🦉 Our volunteer guide, Marianne from Vogelbescherming Nederland, will take us under her wings, go through the basics of birding, and show us a new side of Vondelpark that you may have not noticed before.

❗Please note: Marianne will mainly explain in Dutch, but we'll manage & help each other out! 🫶🏼

Sign up: Please sign up (it’s free), so we know many binoculars to bring
When: July 6, 10.00 - 11.30
Meeting point: We’ll meet 09.45 at Vondelkerk, and start walking at 10.00.
What to bring:
- comfortable walking shoes
- binoculars if you can (we’ll bring extra binoculars for those who need them!)
- perhaps a lil’ drink & snack
- rain coat? Because we’re in The Netherlands
