Do you like books?
Do you believe that reading is important - to teach you, to challenge you, or maybe to show you a reflection of yourself from a different angle? Do you have a steadily growing stack of books you want to read, but you never seem to find the time, or there's nobody around to discuss them with?
In this group, we aim to carve out some space for reading and build a community of people willing to try something new. Every month, we read and discuss a different book by a queer writer, aiming to include both historical and contemporary works, fiction or nonfiction, genre, literary, or anything in between. We aim to read widely and approach with an open mind things we might not usually pick, but above all, to have fun in good company!
Regardless of whether you're queer or an ally, join us for a night of conversation over drinks on every last Thursday of the month!
The meetups take place in English. If you have any concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to the organiser.
