Queer Cards - A Casual TCG Event with Queer Calgary
Details
Come join Queer Calgary and Sentry Box Cards for a relaxed evening of trading card games, new friends, and fun! We welcome anyone to attend, whether you’ve never played a TCG or you’ve been playing for years.
What to expect:
- Any and all TCGs are welcome
- We’ll be playing and teaching games, mainly Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon
- A friendly, low-pressure atmosphere (this is about community, not competition)
- Bring your own cards and supplies, or borrow some from our volunteers!
📅 Date: Every other Tuesday, starting November 3rd
➡️ Upcoming dates: Nov 3, Nov 17, Dec 1, Dec 15, Dec 29
⏰ Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Location: Sentry Box Cards, 1835B 10 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T3C 0K2. We’ll be in the entire basement!
(Please note: this is the cards side of the building, a different entrance from our Queer Board Games night.)
💸 Cost: Free! This program, like all of our programs, is walk-in and does not require a sign up to attend!
♿ Accessibility: Unfortunately, the entrance to this venue is not wheelchair accessible. We’re working on finding other venues to split this event with, and will share updates as soon as we can.

🏳️🌈 Queer Calgary is a registered non-profit organization that aims to combat queer isolation while fostering queer joy within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community of Calgary. We champion this by organizing regular community events and workshops in safe, facilitated third spaces.

However, please remember that these events are meant to be a safe space for the Queer community. Transphobia, homophobia, and discrimination of any kind are not welcome.
If needed, don't forget to ask about our Community Access Fund! Which aims to make our programs accessible to all in the form of bus/transit tickets. Please reach out to us via email at hello@queercalgary.ngo for more details.
