About us

We usually keep our events cozy and intimate, with around 10 to 15 guys showing up each time. That sweet spot means you’re never lost in a crowd, but there’s still plenty of energy and new people to connect with. It’s small enough to feel personal, but big enough to spark real connection.

Most of our events are based right here in Portland, where the vibe is already pretty inclusive and chill. We pick spots around the city that feel welcoming think laid back bars, cozy cafes, art walks, or even outdoor hikes places where conversation flows naturally and you won’t feel like you’re under a spotlight.

Our long term vision? To build a real community where gay men can show up as their authentic selves without hesitation. We’re not just about one off hangouts we want to foster friendships, relationships, and a supportive circle that lasts. Picture a group where everyone knows your name, where you actually look forward to seeing each other, and where you feel like you belong.

We just ask that you come with an open heart and a respectful attitude. This is a space built on kindness and genuine connection, so we hope you’re ready to listen as much as you share, to support others as much as you’re supported, and to show up consistently not just physically, but emotionally too.

If you’re tired of swiping or small talk that goes nowhere, this is your invitation to try something different. Queer Echo is about slowing down, connecting deeply, and finding your people in real life. Come as you are, no masks, no games just real moments with real guys. We’d love to have you in the circle.
