## A Queer Book Club Exploring Gender, Politics, and Power

Join us this April for our Queer Book Club at Villa Vida Café as we dive into Who’s Afraid of Gender? by Judith Butler — one of the most influential thinkers in contemporary gender theory.
In this session, we’ll unpack Butler’s latest work, which examines how “gender” has become a political flashpoint across the world. The book explores how anti-gender movements operate, what’s at stake, and how language, fear, and power shape public discourse.
This is a space for collective reading, critical thinking, and community exchange. No academic background needed—just curiosity and openness.
