Fall Migration at Wapato Access Greenway (Sauvie Island)
Details
Join us for a crisp morning at Wapato Access Greenway on Sauvie Island. We will see lots of fun waterfowl enjoying the wetlands after the much needed fall rains. The loop is a 2 mile mostly flat walk around wetlands and oak savannas. Just in case, bring shoes you don't care if they get a bit dirty. There are ample spots to stop and enjoy the scenery. Afterwards, join us for lunch somewhere in St Johns or NW Portland.
Parking: Since Wapato is a state park, you do not need a wildlife area parking permit. It's free!!! The lot is a bit small, so carpool if you are able. We can fit three more people into our car.
