1-Year Anniversary Celebration & Fundraiser

Can you believe that it's been a whole year since we started Queer Friends in the Burbs?! Let's come together and celebrate the community we've built while fundraising to give back to the person (Sarah--not Maza!) who made it possible. It costs $300 to use the Meetup platform for one year (yikes!), and Sarah paid that all upfront for us.

While playing games, crafting, and making use of our fun facilities, we invite you to bring a baked good, finished crafts, and services (like tarot readings!) to share with the community for a donation cost. These donations will be presented to Sarah to compensate her for this last year and fund the next.
